About Us...
Welcome to Our Handmade Bath & Body Shop
My journey began nearly 20 years ago when my young son’s sensitive skin reacted to many soaps, lotions, and skin care products. Wanting gentler options I could trust, I started learning more about the ingredients we used every day.
From My Family to Yours
That search led me to handmade soap and thoughtful alternatives to store-bought products. After learning the process, I began creating gentler soaps with ingredients I recognized and trusted, such as water, milk, shea butter, and coconut oil. My first goat milk soap with oatmeal and honey sparked a lasting passion for handmade bath and body care. Later, my shea butter body butter left my skin feeling soft, moisturized, and heavenly leading to the name Feels Like Heaven Body Butters & Soaps.
Today, my son is 30 and still avoids store-bought soap. Over time, family, friends, coworkers, and customers encouraged me to expand into lotions, sugar scrubs, body oils, and other bath and body favorites made with the same care.
Handmade with Care in Virginia
What began in Odenton, Maryland, has continued to grow in Virginia since around 2020. I enjoy meeting customers at craft shows and bazaars, sharing my products, and helping them find everyday favorites they feel good using.
Thoughtfully Chosen Ingredients
Each product is handmade by me in small batches with comfort, quality, and skin-loving benefits in mind. I carefully choose nourishing oils, clays, and botanicals to create products you’ll enjoy using again.
